Short Hiatus

Hi Everyone,
As of now the Musicbox is on hiatus. It's Christmas break and we don't have to do our shows. I still want to and I'm waiting to hear back if I can do my show during Christmas break. I will keep you all posted. If not, I will be back next semester, probably a new day and time. So be looking out for an email or keeping checking this blog to stay updated with the Musicbox or other great things I want to share.

A Great Event That's Coming Up! So Check It Out!

Neu Modern Mafia will be performing at "Metamorphosis" Hosted by the House of Bid'alle on December 20th, 2009. Special Guest Artist is Pleasure P! The main Fashion Show will be Hosted Drew Sidora from the hit sitcom "The Game". There will be a comedy show that precedes the main event. This event is sponsored by Remy Martin and Ciroc Vodka. Special guest appearances by NBA players as well as NFL superstars! There will be over 25 different fashion designers in the building and they will be displaying their top fashions which will be available for purchasing. Michael Jackson's rehearsals of what would of been his concert stint in London will be coming to theaters October 28, 2009. I am so excited. I will definitely be going to see it to get the best experience of my idol's last performance on a stage. Here is the new poster to promote the movie.

Michael Jackson's B'day

Yesterday was Michael's B'day and to celebrate I went to a Michael Jackson tribute artist show. I was very excited since this was the closets for me to get to Michael, on earth at least. I was impressed by the tribute artist Michael Firestone because he did all live vocals and his voice was very pleasing to the ear and even a little similar to Michael's. I had a great time and couldn't have thought of a better way to celebrate my idols birthday. Afterward I took two photo's with Michael Firestone and he seems to be a very nice guy and I complimented him on his voice. I have added a video of him doing the song human nature. During the show I thought a lot about how I never saw Michael Jackson grace a stage. It saddened me and at some points during the show I thought about how much I miss him, but I have come to understand that everything happens for a reason. I'm just glad that God allowed us the time we did have with the greatest entertainer he ever created.

I know I've been M.I.A. for a couple of weeks but it is the summer and the summer gets hectic. But school will be starting soon so I will definitely be in the studio every week. Now the important stuff!

The Voice Won't Be On The Air This Thursday ( Going to see the people's judge)

Hey everyone, The Musicbox will not be on the air this Thursday because I have tickets to go see Judge Greg Mathis :)! So you might see me on tv on one of the episodes so be looking out lol. Hopefully if nothing comes up..... I will be in the studio next Thursday, if not of course I plan to keep you posted through my blog and through facebook!

This Week's Show

For the last two shows I gave tribute to the greatest entertainer ever Michael Jackson. I have been overwhelmed by his passing and felt he deserved a tribute. I hope you enjoyed those two shows, they truly meant a lot to me. This week though, I will be returning to my regular format. Of course I will be playing a little bit everything. My Favorite Entertainer

Yesterday the most talented man in the world passed away. He was my favorite entertainer and although I never met him I loved and cherish his presence on this earth. To pay tribute to Michael Jackson I will be playing his music. You will hear rare songs that you never heard before, his classic songs and some very nice mixes of his music. So tune in next Thursday to listen to my Tribute to the one and only "King of Pop!"

Hey everyone I know I've been missing in action, but last week was my first show back on the air and now The Musicbox is even better because I am on the air not one but TWO full hours! I am so excited because I hated to get off the air in an hour, but now I have more time to do what I love and I know you guys are excited as well because you love listening. Yesterday's Show

Yesterday I had a great show inside The Musicbox. My theme was Gents only Thursday. I had some great requests and because you guys kept requesting I stayed on the air 20 minutes longer than I was supposed to. I loved every minute of it though. I also had the most listeners that my show has ever had!!!!!!! So keep tuning in and supporting me S.K.P. The Voice. Tune in next Thursday who knows what will happen inside The Musicbox.

Hey Everyone I Have So Much To Share

Hey everyone I am extremely behind on keeping you posted. Last Thursday I had a theme. It was called "Taking It Back Thursday" I played older songs. I had some great requests and I really enjoyed that show. So this week I did songs that are recent and I called it "What's Hot Thursday" Again a great show and I'm not just saying it because it was my show. It really was a good show. Also today was RU's first battle of the bands. It was so great! I must say there was a lot of talent there. I have become a fan of a band called Under the Indigo Sun, which also happens to be playing at the IBS polooza next week. So stop by and check them out because they are really talented and they make you want to dance! More updates about the palooza will be coming your way so keep checking this blog.

Vacation

So I am on vacation this week and won't be on the air as some of you heard last Thursday. Since I had the time I started this blog, so now you can keep up with me. Yay.
